Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a RN for Med Surg/Telemetry travel assignment in State College, PA. You will manage adult and geriatric patients with telemetry focus, perform assessments, coordinate care, and administer medications.

The role requires active PA/compact license, 2+ years of RN experience, and ACLS/BLS/NIHSS/PALS certifications. Night shifts, 12-hour blocks, every other weekend, 13 weeks contract, travel benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Active PA/compact nursing license required.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience preferred.
• Certifications ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS required.
• Telemetry experience required; Cerner charting preferred.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for 6-7 patients per shift.
• Monitor telemetry and vital signs continuously.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform assessments and coordinate with the care team.
• Utilize IV management, chest tubes, and blood products as needed.
• Follow isolation precautions and infection control protocols.
