Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Texas. Requires TX license or compact license and prior cath lab experience. Position includes travel perks and licensure reimbursements.

Candidate must have BLS/ACLS, 2+ years RN experience, and provide two references plus a driver’s license. No BSN required. Work involves 4x10-hour days, 7am-5:30pm, with call and potential float duties.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required, pending licenses not accepted.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA).
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• BSN not required for this position.
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility.
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit.
• Uses EPIC EMR charting system.
• 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 0700-1730 with a rotating day off.
• 10-12 days of call per month including weekend rotation.
• May float to the ED to serve as a sitter or to med-surg floors to answer call lights during down times.
• Provide direct patient care within the Cardiac Cath Lab, including support during procedures and coverage on medical-surgical or ED units as needed.
