Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in California. Requires CA RN license and ACLS certification. BLS and 3+ years Cath Lab experience within the last 3 months are mandatory. BSN preferred.

Acute care facility experience is favored. Vaccinations may be required for employment. Open to local and travel candidates; travel/licensure reimbursements offered. Work day shifts 0700-1930, 36 or 48 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) required.
• Current ACLS certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) required.
• Minimum of 3 years Cath Lab specialty experience required, with recent experience within the last 3 months.
• BSN preferred.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.
• No prior adverse action or restriction on nursing license permitted.

Responsibilities

• Cath Lab unit within an acute care hospital setting.
• Day shift schedule, 0700-1930, working 36 or 48 hours per week.
• Delivers coordinated nursing care following established standards and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs nursing staff activities while coordinating care with other disciplines.
• Collects and analyzes patient data to determine diagnoses, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and effective care.
• Participates in discharge planning to support continuity of care.
• Provides patient and family education as part of care delivery.
• Vaccinations may be required as a condition of employment.
