Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a busy cardiac catheterization lab position in Georgia. Responsibilities include standby for on-call, moderate sedation, and direct patient care in a cath lab with 5 recovery beds and 2 labs.

Requires active GA RN license, BLS/ACLS, 3+ years of Cath Lab experience, and proficiency with Heart Cath, Peripheral, Device Insertion, and IR cases. Travel housing and licensure reimbursements offered.

Qualifications

• Active GA or compact RN license is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab RN experience.
• Moderate sedation experience is required.
• Experience with Heart Cath, Peripheral, Device Insertion, and IR cases is required.
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Works in a Cath Lab unit with 5 recovery beds and 2 cath labs.
• Patient ratios of 2:1 in recovery and 1:1 in the cath lab.
• Staffed by RNs and Cath Lab Techs.
• Uses MacLab, Balloon Pump, Impella, and Boston IVUS/FFR equipment.
• Documentation performed in MacLab and Meditech.
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
• On-call responsibilities required.
• No floating required.
• Provide direct patient care in a cardiac catheterization lab setting.
• OR scrubs provided by the hospital.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.
• Local candidates not accepted under any circumstances.
