Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab role in Connecticut. The candidate must hold an active CT RN license (Standard or Compact) and have at least 2 years of cardiac cath/EP lab experience. BLS and ACLS are required. Strong circulating skills in Cath, EP, and Neuro cases are essential.

Responsibilities include work in hospital-based Cath Lab, Neuro-Interventional Lab, and Structural Heart settings, with 3x12 hour shifts and on-call duties. Kronos is used for timekeeping.

Qualifications

• Active CT RN license (Standard or Compact).
• Minimum 2 years cardiac cath/EP lab experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA).
• Proficient circulating in Cath, EP, and Neuro cases.
• CCRN, CI, or CV RCIS certifications preferred.
• Two professional references from a manager reflecting standard performance.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab, Neuro-Interventional Lab, and Structural Heart interventional setting.
• High-acuity, invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• 3x12 hour shifts, Monday-Friday, with variable start times (6am, 7am, or 8am).
• On-call required based on department needs, including one weekday night, every fourth weekend, and some holidays.
• Function effectively in a high-acuity interventional environment requiring strong interdisciplinary communication.
• Local candidates accepted within 60 miles at a reduced rate.
• Uses Kronos for timekeeping.

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring CT RN licensure and a minimum of 2 years of cardiac cath/EP lab experience.

Requirements

• Active CT RN license (Standard or Compact)
• Minimum 2 years cardiac cath/EP lab experience
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• Proficient circulating in Cath, EP, and Neuro cases
• Strong procedural, sedation, and hemodynamic monitoring skills
• Prior Cath Lab, Neuro-Interventional, or Structural Heart RN experience preferred
• CCRN, CI, or CV RCIS certifications preferred
• Neuro-Interventional experience preferred (mechanical thrombectomy, coiling, pipeline, embolizations)
• Proficiency in monitoring and scrubbing for Cath, EP, and Neuro cases preferred
• Two professional references from a manager or above reflecting standard or above-average performance within the past year in current discipline/specialty
