Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks an experienced RN for the Burn Trauma/Vascular ICU. The role is a 14-week temporary assignment on the night shift, offering a $75.00/hr pay rate and comprehensive benefits.

The unit handles complex surgical recoveries, transplant care, and vascular procedures, with adult ICU patients who require advanced nursing support. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of acute care RN experience, an active Virginia or compact license, and BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience.
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with ICU-level monitoring and transplant recovery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU nursing care for burn/trauma patients on the unit.
• Monitor and interpret patient vitals, labs, and imaging results.
• Manage ventilator support and CRRT/hemodialysis as needed.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and transplant services to plan recovery.
