American Traveler is seeking a Dialysis RN for a 13-week travel assignment in New Mexico. The role requires acute inpatient dialysis experience, NIHSS certification, and an active NM or Compact RN license. You will work day shifts 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM in an acute care dialysis unit.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of nursing experience, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and no gaps longer than 90 days in the past year. Tablo and Mindray telemetry experience are preferred, with Cerner EMR in use.

Formación

• Active RN license (NM or Compact) required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience required.
• Acute care inpatient dialysis experience required.
• Tablo device experience preferred.
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsabilidades

• Dialysis unit with 4 beds.
• Patient ratio of 1:1-2.
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
• Call required at approximately 12 hours per week.
• Floating required but rarely needed.
• EMR system is Cerner with Mindray telemetry monitoring.
• Provide shift accountability for dialysis patient care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in care planning and delivery.
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
