American Traveler, LLC. seeks an RN - Acute Dialysis to join a hospital dialysis unit on Nantucket. Active MA RN license and BLS are required; travel assignment with housing provided. Primary source license verification is needed within 30 days of start date via NURSYS and BON.

Flu vaccine is mandatory with no exemptions. The role involves early start times (5:30 AM), 4–5 workdays per week, and occasional longer shifts due to patient load. Epic is used for charting and references are required.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred, Red Cross accepted)
• License primary source verification within 30 days via NURSYS and BON

Responsibilities

• Dialysis unit within a hospital serving Nantucket’s year‑round population and seasonal visitors
• Shift schedule typically starts at 5:30 AM; some days extend to mid‑morning or late afternoon
• Works 4 to 5 days per week with Sundays off
• Uses Epic for charting
• Shared housing provided at no cost
• Two professional references required at consideration
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred, Red Cross accepted)
• Primary source verification of license required within 30 days of start date via NURSYS and BON

Responsibilities

• Dialysis unit within a hospital serving a year-round island community of 15,000+ residents and up to 100,000 seasonal visitors
• Variable shift schedule generally starting at 5:30 AM, with some days extending to mid-morning or late afternoon due to extra patient treatments
• Works 4 to 5 days per week with Sundays off
• Uses Epic for charting
• Shared housing provided at no cost
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to be considered for standard travel rate
• Two professional references required at time of consideration
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
