Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, in Clyde, NC, is seeking a highly skilled travel nurse for 8, 10, or 13 week assignments at Lifepoint Health facilities. The role involves planning and delivering patient care, medication administration, and inter-disciplinary collaboration to ensure safe outcomes.

The position requires at least one year of acute care hospital experience, an active nursing license, and appropriate certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Current state nursing license.
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited school.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care, documenting care given.
• Monitor, records, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
