Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, in partnership with Lifepoint Health, offers travel nurse opportunities across a nationwide network. A community hospital in Southern Tennessee seeks a skilled RN for 8, 10, or 13 week assignments based on facility needs.

You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, monitor status, collaborate with care teams, educate patients and families, and advocate for patients. Requirements include 1 year acute care, RN license, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of acute care hospital experience is required.
• Current state nursing license is required.
• Certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies.
• Ability to read/write/speak/understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration and other medical care.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate with care team, physicians, patients and families.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines including transfer, discharge and referrals.
• Educate patients and families appropriate to age, culture, and condition.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
