Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking an experienced Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for night shifts at St. Francis Hospital.

This mobile staffing program offers premium compensation and maximum scheduling flexibility across local regions. As a FirstChoice RT, you will have opportunities to float across locations, enjoy diverse practice settings, and receive DailyPay, travel/per diem opportunities, and license/cert reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapist program; registry eligible.
• Current CRT and/or RRT credential; NPS preferred.
• Valid Respiratory Care license where required.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Proficient in Windows and basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

Position Purpose

Are you an experienced Respiratory Therapist looking for premium compensation and maximum flexibility? Explore FirstChoice – Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution! What you will do

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions
• Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice per AARC guidelines.
• Acts independently & appropriately within, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area
• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes
• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes
• Exhibits agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities
• Embraces new ideas & cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Minimum Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist
• Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner -Accredited Respiratory Therapist program: Registry eligible.
• Current CRT and/or RRT credential. NPS preferred.
• Valid State License in Respiratory Care if required in the state you are working.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with patients, physicians and other health personnel and department management during all situations and in line with our mission and values.
• Analytical skills necessary to identify patient’s needs.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
