Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for an acute care night shift position in Utah. The role requires CRT or RRT certification, 3+ years of acute care experience, and an Associate's degree, with AHA certifications on file.

You will serve both inpatient and outpatient respiratory therapy needs in a 39-bed hospital setting, including neonates when needed. Night hours are 4:45 PM to 4:45 AM with 36 guaranteed hours weekly, and every-other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient respiratory therapy services in a 39-bed hospital with 49 beds on the unit
• Cardiopulmonary floor, Trauma Level 4 facility
• Patient population includes geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients
• Must be comfortable working alone and with neonates
• Night shift hours from 4:45 PM to 4:45 AM
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• Weekend work every other weekend
• No call requirements
• No floating required
• Provide respiratory therapy care across geriatric, adult, and pediatric populations
• Work independently and confidently with neonatal patients when needed
• Any scrub color is acceptable per facility dress code
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
