American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a part-time night shift position at a rehabilitation hospital, requiring an active Michigan RRT license.

The role involves 2x12-hour night shifts, bedside ventilator care, EKGs, ABG analysis, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to develop patient-centered care plans. Epic EMR is used for documentation and patient records.

Qualifications

• Must be an RRT; CRT not accepted.
• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• Current BLS certification.
• NBRC national certification required.
• Michigan RRT license in hand.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.

Responsabilités

• Rehabilitation hospital setting.
• Part-time schedule with 2x12-hour night shifts from 6:30pm to 7:00am.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Performs diagnostic procedures including EKGs, blood gas analysis, TCOM monitoring, overnight pulse ox studies, and oxygen desaturation studies.
• Provides ventilator care, airway management, tracheostomy changes, and BiPAP/CPAP therapy.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop patient-centered respiratory care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide bronchodilator care, pulmonary hygiene therapy, and appropriate oxygen and aerosol therapy.
• Assist with discharge education and coordination for patients.
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate.
