Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position in a community hospital setting. The role requires 1+ year of experience and holds RRT, BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications. Work schedule is 3x12 hour nights (18:30–07:00) with no on-call.

Candidates must have a compact state license in hand at submission; Epic EMR experience is preferred and references are required. This travel assignment offers high pay, housing allowance, travel and licensure

Responsibilities

• Community hospital setting within the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Works with adult critical care and emergency department patient populations
• Performs airway management including intubation assist, extubation, and tracheostomy care
• Administers nebulizer treatments and oxygen therapy via multiple delivery methods
• Manages mechanical ventilation including BiPAP, CPAP, and weaning protocols
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00
• No call required
• May float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront with the application
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel pay rate
• Former Providence permanent employees must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position
• Returning former employees must also live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including as a permanent employee, travel contractor, or per-diem staff
