American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift at a teaching hospital in Ohio. Requires 2+ years of experience and an active Ohio RRT license.

Responsibilities include night shifts, ventilator and airway management, ABG interpretation, and potential cross-campus travel. Weekend work is required; travel eligibility varies by assignment.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Respiratory Therapist.
• Active Ohio RRT license required at time of submission.
• BLS and RRT certifications required; CRT or RRT accepted, not both.
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
• 2 professional references, with at least 1 from a manager or director; no coworker references.

Mansioni

• Night shift: 3x12 hour shifts, 19:00-7:30; 36 hours per week.
• Weekend work required.
• Floating between hospital campuses may be required.
• Ventilator management including BiPAP/CPAP and weaning.
• Airway management including extubation and tracheostomy care.
• ABG interpretation, nebulizers, and oxygen therapy including HFNC.

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position at a teaching hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and an active Ohio RRT license.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• BLS and RRT certifications required
• CRT or RRT accepted, not both
• Active Ohio State RRT license required at time of submission (must be active and in hand, pending not accepted)
• License required if applicable
• High school diploma or official transcripts required during compliance process
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a manager/director or formal leadership role; charge RN acceptable for second reference; no coworker references accepted

Responsibilities

• Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts, 19:00-7:30, 36 hours per week
• Weekend work required
• Floating between hospital campuses may be required
• Adult critical care and emergency department settings
• Ventilator management including BiPAP, CPAP, weaning from mechanical ventilation, and troubleshooting high pressure alarms
• Airway management including extubation, suctioning, and tracheostomy care
• Performs ABG interpretation, nebulizer treatments, and oxygen therapy including HFNC
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Locals accepted at the same rate
• Former employees eligible for travel assignment after 6 months away from the facility
• Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at this facility
• RTO must be submitted with application and built into contract, limited to 7 days or less
• Ohio fingerprinting process must be completed urgently after signing contract; candidates outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to a fingerprinting location, while those at extreme distances will be mailed a fingerprinting packet
