Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required; CRT not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric respiratory therapy experience required, 3+ years preferred
• Pediatric experience required
• Completion of at least 1 prior travel assignment required
• TN license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• Must comply with NLC guidelines

Responsibilities

• Pediatric respiratory therapy unit within a children's hospital
• Level I Pediatric Trauma Center setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Provide respiratory care services to critically ill pediatric patients in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff and travelers must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall during the assignment, must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall during the assignment, must work at least 1
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration; RTO requested after an offer will not be honored
• Local candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• Vaccination status documentation required for consideration
