Job summary

MyMichigan Health seeks a Respiratory Therapist to independently administer medications, perform cardio-pulmonary therapies, and respond to emergencies with CPR and life support oversight. Travel between Alma, Clare, Gladwin, West Branch, Saginaw, Standish, Tawas, Alpena, and Sault Saint Marie is required, ensuring high-quality diagnostic standards across facilities.

Must maintain Michigan Licensure in Respiratory Care, and complete BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with an associate degree.
• Current State of Michigan License in Respiratory Care required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire; ACLS/NRP preferred within 12 months.
• Ability to troubleshoot respiratory equipment and devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and evaluate protocol-based therapies.
• Deliver medications via aerosol and metered-dose inhalers.
• Respond to rapid responses and emergencies, manage airways and CPR as needed.
• Maintain proficiency across MyMichigan Health locations and equipment.
