Job Summary

A Respiratory Care Practitioner performs respiratory care and pulmonary diagnostic procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures. Responsibilities include:

• Treatment and management of patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities.
• Conducting diagnostic evaluations and pulmonary testing.
• Providing ventilatory support and bronchopulmonary clearance.
• Performing breathing exercises, patient education, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and airway maintenance.
• Working in critical and non‑critical care areas for patients of all ages.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in both general and critical care.
• Associate Degree from a CoARC‑accredited Respiratory Care program.
• Current State of Wisconsin License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Work authorization: U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a hospital setting providing respiratory care.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care.
• Membership in the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) and Wisconsin Society for Respiratory Care (WSRC).
