ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves providing respiratory therapy and life support across patient populations, with a 12-hour rotating shift and 36 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of respiratory therapy experience, BLS, RTT certification, and state licensure, with NRP potentially required for some facilities.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
• BLS certification required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RTT) certification required.
• State license required.
• NRP may be required for certain facilities.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patient conditions by reading prescriptions and reviewing patient information to determine therapy needs.
• Set up and operate respiratory devices including ventilators and gas administration systems.
• Monitor patient responses and document therapy data.
• Perform pulmonary function tests and bronchopulmonary drainage as needed.
• Consult with physicians on adverse reactions and assist in transporting ventilated patients.
• Respond to emergency code situations as necessary.
