Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Pittsburgh, PA. The role requires CoARC-approved training, BLS, RTT certification, and state licensure, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities include managing ventilators, assessing patients, and supporting life‑saving respiratory therapy across patient populations. Housing options and health coverage are part of the travel package.

Formación

• Graduate of a CoARC-approved respiratory therapy program.
• Two years of experience as a respiratory therapist.
• BLS certification is required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RTT) credential and applicable state licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Provide respiratory therapy services and life support per physician prescription.
• Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators and related equipment.
• Assess patient conditions, review orders and determine therapy methods.
• Monitor vitals, blood gases, and other physiological responses to therapy.
• Maintain patient charts and assist with patient transport as needed.
• Respond to code situations and ensure patient safety.
