Job summary

YAD HEALTHCARE is seeking a Travel Respiratory Therapist to support multiple skilled nursing facilities across North Carolina. The role requires educating nursing staff on pulmonary status and developing respiratory programs to treat acute and chronic illness.

You will review plans of care, collaborate with rehab staff and physicians, and lead ongoing education to manage each facility’s respiratory program. A North Carolina license is required and travel is involved.

Qualifications

• Must hold North Carolina Respiratory Therapist license.
• Must be licensed and in good standing to practice in NC.

Responsibilities

• Educate nursing staff to monitor and assess pulmonary status.
• Develop and implement respiratory programs for acute/chronic illness.
• Review residents' plan of care for appropriateness.
• Collaborate with rehab staff, physicians, and nurses to improve care.
• Be responsible for continuous nursing education and managing each facility’s respiratory program.
