Job summary

YAD HEALTHCARE is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to travel to multiple skilled nursing facilities and lead respiratory care initiatives. You will educate nursing staff, develop programs, and review care plans to ensure quality patient outcomes.

The role involves collaboration with rehab staff, physicians, and nurses, with emphasis on education and program management across facilities. Excellent pay is offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must hold NC license to practice respiratory therapy.
• Travel to multiple facilities as part of role.
• Experience educating nursing staff and developing respiratory programs.

Responsibilities

• Educate nursing staff to monitor and assess pulmonary status.
• Develop and implement respiratory programs for acute/chronic illness.
• Review residents' plan of care for appropriateness.
• Collaborate with rehab staff, physician, and nurses to improve care.
• Manage each facility’s respiratory program and ongoing education.
