Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Traveling Building Maintenance Technician. The role includes welding and multi-trade maintenance across offices, docks, and fuel stations, with a company vehicle and equipment provided.

Traveling Building Maintenance Technician, $26.00-$28.00 hr

Duties will include but are not limited to; maintenance of offices, docks/warehouse, mechanic shops, fuel islands and other related stations. Company service vehicle and large tools/equipment (ladders, welder, air compressor, etc.) provided. Extensive traveling (9 days on, 5 days off) required.

Minimum Qualifications

• MUST HAVE a minimum of 2 years of hands-on welding experience. Welding experience is a non-negotiable requirement for this position.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in multiple skilled trades, including welding, electrical (including 3-phase), plumbing, and carpentry.
• Ability to perform maintenance and repairs involving overhead doors, dock plates, lighting, electrical systems, light concrete work, plumbing fixtures and lines, drywall, painting, and metal siding.
• Must be willing and able to travel extensively, including 9 days on the road followed by 5 days off.
• Must provide and maintain your own basic hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.).
• Must have a good Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no driving restrictions.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot maintenance issues, and safely perform repairs in a variety of environments.
