Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Rehab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Lynchburg, VA. The role emphasizes comprehensive rehab nursing assessments, implementation of care plans, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to restore patient function and well-being.

Requirements include one year of Rehab RN experience, active RN license, and current BLS certification. ACLS/NIHSS and other licenses may be preferred; 12-hour night shifts (36 hours/week) with a travel pay package.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Rehab RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessment of patients and document in records.
• Prepare patients for surgery and educate about procedures and postoperative care.
• Coordinate holistic patient care including mobility support, rehab exercises, and ADLs.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapies and communicate with the team.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with proper documentation.
• Maintain clean, organized environment and ensure supplies for rehab care.
• Assist with safe patient transport to therapy sessions and other areas.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards.
