Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Rehab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Billings, MT. You will provide comprehensive nursing care for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses, while working 12-hour nights and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers competitive pay, first-day benefits, PTO, and licensure/reimbursement support. Required: 1 year Rehab RN experience, valid RN license, and BLS; preferred: ACLS/NIHSS certs.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Rehab RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessment of patients on the unit and document appropriately into patient records
• Prepare patients for surgery, including educating them about procedures and post-operative care
• Coordinate and provide holistic patient care, including mobility support, rehabilitation exercises, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Monitor and evaluate patients’ responses to therapeutic interventions, documenting progress and communicating any deviations or concerns to the interdisciplinary team
• Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments ensuring proper documentation and compliance with safety protocols
• Maintain a clean, organized environment and ensure rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies and equipment to support rehabilitation care
• Assist with safe patient transport to and from therapy sessions, diagnostic procedures, or other care areas as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
