Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Rehabilitation for a travel nursing job in Billings, MT. The assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts in a Med/Surg setting.

The RN should have 1-2 years of acute care experience. Responsibilities include patient assessments, treatments, education, and discharge planning. Additional certifications may be required before starting. Travel with tax-free stipends and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required before starting assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for Med/Surg patients, including pre- and post-op cases.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care plans.
• Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education as prescribed.
