Role Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories. Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function and report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
• Collaborate with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patients being treated.
• Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year recent acute care experience. BLS, ACLS required. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas. NBRC certification. 2 years of experience or related credential.

Physical and Licensing Requirements

Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Must be able to lift 20 lbs; lifting up to 50 lbs may be required. Must have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
