TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a Libertyville, Illinois assignment.

The role involves 12-hour night shifts (36 hours/week) on a 13-week travel contract with 6pm start times, and no on-call requirement. You will treat pediatric to geriatric patients, uphold EPIC charting, and ensure patient safety with ABG draws and ventilator management.

Formación

• 2 years experience with full lifespan of patients (peds, adults, geri).
• Active IL license and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP or equivalent.
• EPIC experience required and comfortable with ABG draws.
• Experience with Trachs, proning, and ECMO is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Document in EPIC and adhere to unit protocols.
• Perform ABG draws and manage ventilators as needed.

Candidate MUST HAVE:

• 2 years experience with full lifespan of patients (peds, adults, and geri)
• active license (IL)
• active BLS and ACLS (AHA), PALS, NRP, and RRT (CRT also accepted)
• EPIC experience
• Trachs, nitrous oxide procedures, proning techniques, ECMO, critical care experience, ventilator associated Client or even prevention experience, spontaneous breathing trials, ABG draws.

Patient Types:

• Neonates to geriatric respiratory patients

Covid & PPE:

• Plenty of PPE, N95 available

Patient Ratios: 1:1

Required Certifications:

• BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, and either RRT or CRT

Skills required

• Must have experience in peds, adults, and geri
• Manager wants PALS, NRP, and license in hand at time of submission.
• EPIC experience is a must
• Trachs, nitrous oxide procedures, proning techniques, critical care experience, ventilator associated Client or even prevention experience, spontaneous breathing trials, ABG draws

Support on the Unit: Supervisor

Charting System/Equipment:

• Charting System: EPIC
• Ventilators: PB840 and 980 and Servo-U and Hamilton
• CPAP/BiPAP: V60s and ResMed and RemStar
• Optiflow
• Transport Vents: Hamilton

Floating:

• Potentially to hospitals within the PSA based on the contract

Orientation: 1 day on the unit

Scheduling:

• 12h shifts
• Weekend rotation: every other
• No on call
• Holiday Expectations: based on needs
