Job Description & Requirements

Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU / PICU / Pediatrics

• Shift: 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour shifts
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
• License: Active Indiana state license required at submission
• Certifications Required: NBRC RRT, BLS, ACLS
• NRP: Required for L&D placements; may be obtained after an offer if required by the client
• PALS: Preferred
• Education: CoARC-accredited program and regionally accredited institution recognized by CHEA required

Requirements & Unit Details

• Recent Children's Hospital experience within the last 3 years required.
• Candidates with experience at a Level I adult facility may also be considered.
• L&D experience required, as the primary assignment will be in Labor & Delivery.
• NICU or PICU experience required.
• Home unit (NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics) will be assigned at the facility and may change based on facility needs.
• Floating: PICU and some Pediatric Acute Care units.

Holiday Requirements

Travelers must work two of the following three paired holiday blocks:

• November 27–28
• December 24–25
• December 31–January 1
