• Ability to respond to critical situations and provide care under pressure.
• Experience with life-sign measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient's vital signs using electrocardiograms.
• Provide care to patients with gastrointestinal diseases, heart failure, and diabetes.
• Assist in hospital or clinical settings as a proficient Telemetry Nurse.

A Telemetry Nurse monitors patient’s vital signs with an electrocardiogram or other life sign-measuring device. They usually provide care to patients with gastrointestinal diseases, heart failure, diabetes, and other acute diagnoses. Most often they work in hospitals or other clinical facilities.
