THE POSITION:

Cardiac catheterization is the insertion of a catheter into a chamber or vessel of the heart. It can be used as a way to diagnose heart conditions, or as treatment. Cardiac Cath Lab Nurses assist doctors performing these procedures. As a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse, you can specialize even further in coronary catherization—procedures that involve coronary arteries, and take place in state of the art labs. In this specialty, you’ll have the opportunity to work with the latest technology in cardiac care.

Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel Registered Nurse - $2580 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.
• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Florida license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations.
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Unit Details: Uses Phillips and GE equipment. Uses Mac Lab. Performs LHC, RHC, peripheral, structural heart, and EP procedures.

Shift & Scheduling: Day shift: 7:00 am – 1730 pm or until all cases are completed. On-call after hours, during the week, every other weekend, and major holidays.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
