Required Credentials:- High School Diploma or equivalent required.- Fluoroscopy Certification.
Preferred Skills/Experience:- Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab is preferred.
Preferred Credentials:- Associate's degree preferred.
Unit Details:- Provides technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.- Provides patient care under the supervision of the RN.- Assists physicians with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures and serves as a scrub assistant while maintaining sterile conditions.- Operates imaging equipment and works in the control room to monitor and document procedure images and events.- Educates patients and families regarding the procedure and pre- and post-procedure expectations.
