100 mile radius rule

This is a mixed acuity unit meaning there will be Intermediate Care acuity as well as Tele and MedSurg, Direct admits, ED admits, Post Cath Lab, etc

MI, NSTEMI STEMI (IABP would go to ICU), CHF, Dysrhythmia management, Pacemaker malfunction, Epicardial pacers, Backup Stroke unit and Medical Overflow

Step down level experience with post cardiac/vascular, post-cardiac cath patients, post open heart surgery, post TAVR, post EP studies, post pacemaker insertion

Ratio: 1:4

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH

EMR: EPIC
