Operating Room Nurse Surgical Services the organization
The OR Staff Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients across the age spectrum within the Surgical Services Department. This position involves functioning as a scrub, circulating, or float nurse in the operating room, ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and operational efficiency.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Current California RN license; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; 3 years of clinical experience in perioperative or surgical nursing; Flexibility to work the day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with on-call duties every third weekend.
• Preferred Qualifications: Credentials such as CNOR, PANAC, and AAOPU are preferred.
• Responsibilities: Provide optimal physical and emotional environment for patients, maintain compliance with departmental and regulatory standards, participate in safety and performance improvement initiatives, and support site identification and safety protocols.
• Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.
• Additional Information: Share call duty as required. Demonstrates knowledge in age-specific patient care, including pediatrics, adolescents, and geriatric needs. Maintain professionalism and meet all certification, license, and competency requirements as mandated by regulatory agencies.
