• Verify orders, prepare medications, manage IV access; ensure safety.
• Document care, progress, and meds in the EMR (Epic).
• Collaborate with oncology team; educate patients and families about infusion safety.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy infusions in the outpatient infusion setting following established protocols
• Monitor patients during infusion, assess for adverse reactions, and respond promptly to infusion-related events
• Verify orders, prepare medications accurately, manage IV access, and ensure patient safety
• Document care, treatment progress, and medications in the electronic medical record (Epic)
• Collaborate with the oncology care team, including physicians, pharmacists, and nursing staff; provide patient and family education about infusion therapy and safety

Requirements

• Active RN license on file at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; minimum 2 years in the oncology/infusion specialty
• Outpatient infusion/oncology clinic experience required
