Job Title: Travel Contract – Registered Nurse –Oncology

Number of positions: 1

Years of experience: One to three years

Shift: Day shifts– 40 hours

Duration: 13 weeks

Expected Start Date: Jul 06, 2025

Expected End Date: Oct 06, 2025

Hourly Pay: $72.07

Job Description

Department: OP INFUSION

Shift Timing: 08:00 - 14:30 Hours Monday through Thursday

Per week: 32 hour

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  
  

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Renal Oncology experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered RN Tennessee state license
• One year of Epic/Cerner experience
• Chemo certification
• Must have and maintain current licensure in the State of Rhode Island.
• Maintains CPR and any other credentials or certifications necessary to be competent as a Registered Nurse
• An area of specialty, including knowledge and skills necessary to treat, assess and care for young adult, adult and geriatric patients in area of specialty.
• Must have Oncology Nursing Society Certification within one year and maintain this certification.
• Must be proficient in the English language.
• Multistate or RI nursing license required
• BLS/ACLS required
• Infusion experience required
• Current Fundamentals of Chemotherapy/Biotherapy administration required
