Job Title: Travel Contract - Registered Nurse - Oncology

Number of positions: 1

Years of experience: One to three years

Shift: Day shifts - 40 hours

Duration: 13 weeks

Expected Start Date: Jul 06, 2025

Expected End Date: Oct 06, 2025

Hourly Pay: $72.07

Department: OP INFUSION

Shift Timing: 08:00 - 14:30 Hours Monday through Thursday

Per week: 32 hours

Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

• BLS and ACLS
• NIH certification
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Strong technical skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Minimum of two years of current RN Renal Oncology experience
• Graduate from an accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered RN Tennessee state license
• One year of Epic/Cerner experience
• Chemo certification
• Must have and maintain current licensure in the State of Rhode Island
• CPR and other relevant certifications
• Specialty knowledge and skills for young adult, adult, and geriatric patients
• Oncology Nursing Society Certification within one year
• Proficiency in English
• Multistate or Rhode Island nursing license
• Infusion experience
• Current Fundamentals of Chemotherapy/Biotherapy administration
