You will work in a hospital OB/GYN department focusing on outpatient care, prenatal and gynecologic services, with dedicated recruiter support and credentialing assistance from Healthforce.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN license active.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required.
• Minimum 2 years outpatient OB/GYN experience.
• L&D exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for OB/GYN outpatients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with the care team.
• Monitor fetal status and administer ordered interventions.
• Educate patients and families; assist with perioperative activities as applicable.
• Document care in EMR and ensure infection control standards.
• Support care coordination across antepartum and maternal-fetal services.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for OB/GYN outpatients, including prenatal and gynecologic care
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team
• Monitor fetal status, administer medications and interventions as ordered, and coordinate with physicians and specialists
• Provide patient and family education, prepare for procedures, and assist with perioperative and postpartum activities as applicable
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record and ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards
• Support care coordination across antepartum, gynecologic procedures, and maternal-fetal medicine services

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• BLS certification
• AWHONN fetal monitoring certificate required
• ACLS certification
• 2+ years of outpatient OB/GYN experience
• Preferred: experience in women's health telephone triage and Labor & Delivery (L&D) exposure
