Healthforce is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery in Cape Coral, FL. This 13-week travel assignment includes 12-hour night shifts, with a 36-hour weekly guarantee and a start date in December 2026. Nurses will float to sister campuses as needed and work in a 24-bed OB/Maternal and Nursery unit.

Required are active RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications, and 2+ years of L&D experience. Travel support and fast credentialing are provided by Healthforce.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (state-specific) required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of LDRP/Labor and Delivery experience.
• Degree accreditation must be listed or candidate must have at least 5 years of L&D experience.
• Ability to float to sister campuses as needed; 50-mile radius rule from perm address applies.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients and newborns on OB/Maternal and Nursery unit; monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to evolving conditions.
• Assist with labor and delivery, support cesarean and vaginal birth processes, and deliver postpartum and newborn care per orders.
• Administer medications and interventions per obstetric protocols; manage pain relief and monitor labor progression.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, document in Epic EMR, and communicate changes to the care team.
• Collaborate with obstetric, neonatal, anesthesia, and support staff; participate in call coverage and respond to emergencies.
• Float to other units or sister campuses as needed; adhere to unit ratios and institutional policies.

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Cape Coral, Florida, United States. Start date 12/04/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range is $1,953–$2,012 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 12-hour Nights (12x3). Requirements

• Active RN license (state-specific) required; licensure will be verified
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of LDRP/Labor and Delivery experience
• Degree accreditation must be listed on the profile or the candidate must have at least 5 years of L&D experience
• Ability to float to sister campuses as needed; 50-mile radius rule from perm address applies; RTO must be submitted with submittal; Epic EMR experience is preferred
