Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice (California) or as required for the assignment.
• Minimum two years of recent ICU/acute care nursing experience.
• CPR/BLS current; ACLS and PALS certifications required
• BSN preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC or similar EMR systems required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced ICU setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, administer medications and therapies per physician orders, and elevate concerns promptly.
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff within the unit; collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other care team members.
• Participate in discharge planning, patient and family education, and documentation to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain a safe, healing environment, adhere to infection control practices, and uphold patient safety standards throughout the shift

Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Sonora, California. Start date: 11/02/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,043–$2,178 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights (6:30 PM–7:00 AM). Facility type: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This assignment requires ICU-focused nursing care delivered within a compliant, multidisciplinary team.
