Healthforce is seeking an ICU travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Sonora, California. The role offers 36 guaranteed hours per week, night shifts (3x12s), and a focus on high-acuity ICU care within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include California RN licensure, 2+ years ICU experience, CPR/BLS, and ACLS/PALS. BSN preferred; EPIC EMR experience is required. Start date is 11/02/2026 with potential credentialing support.

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of practice (California) or as required for the assignment.
Minimum two years of recent ICU/acute care nursing experience.
CPR/BLS current; ACLS and PALS certifications required
BSN preferred
Proficiency with EPIC or similar EMR systems required
Ability to work in a fast-paced ICU setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Responsabilités

Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Monitor patient status, respond to changes, administer medications and therapies per physician orders, and elevate concerns promptly.
Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff within the unit; collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other care team members.
Participate in discharge planning, patient and family education, and documentation to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain a safe, healing environment, adhere to infection control practices, and uphold patient safety standards throughout the shift
