Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, coordinated nursing care for ICU patients using the nursing process
• Monitor patient status, analyze data, identify changes, and implement appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and coordinate care with families to plan and execute treatment and discharge plans
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; delegate tasks and supervise care delivery
• Maintain thorough documentation, promote a safe and healing environment, and participate in rounds and care planning
• Provide education to patients and families and support treatment teams with timely communication

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice (California) or applicable state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an approved vendor
• At least two years of recent ICU or acute care experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Ability to work effectively in an ICU/acute care setting; eligible for state licensure as required
