Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare in Glendale, CA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse – ICU for a travel assignment in a metropolitan acute care facility. The position offers 36 hours per week on a 3x12 night schedule (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) for 13 weeks, starting 10/18/2026, with guaranteed weekly pay.

You will deliver direct ICU care, monitor patients, coordinate with families, and document thoroughly while using Epic EMR. California RN license, BLS/CPR, and ICU experience are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

Requires California (or applicable state) RN license.
BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor.
Minimum two years ICU or acute care experience.
Epic EMR experience required.
BSN preferred.
Eligible for state licensure in ICU/acute care settings.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct, coordinated ICU nursing care using the nursing process.
Monitor patient status, analyze data, identify changes, and implement interventions.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and coordinate care with families.
Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff; delegate tasks as needed.
Maintain documentation and promote a safe healing environment.
Provide patient/family education and support treatment teams.
