Qualifications

• ICU nursing experience or demonstrated ability in a critical care setting.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (36 hours per week)
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and relocate as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff, and coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
• Monitor patient status in the ICU, administer medications and therapies as ordered, and document changes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Prioritize care and ensure patient safety through evidence-based practice and timely interventions.
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with unit, hospital, and regulatory policies.
