Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing assessments, develop and update care plans, implement orders, and evaluate responses with the team
• Manage complex ICU equipment (arterial/central lines, ICP monitoring, ventilator settings, CRRT, Impella) and respond to emergencies per ACLS/BLS

Overview

Registered Nurse – ICU (Travel) is needed for a 15-week assignment in Concord, New Hampshire. Start date is 09/28/2026 with guaranteed 36 hours per week and a 12-hour night shift (12x3). The role is in a hospital setting on a high-demand ICU unit, requiring strong critical care skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Weekly pay ranges from $2,083 to $2,227.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU-level nursing care to critically ill adult patients, including monitoring, ventilator management, and hemodynamic support
• Conduct ongoing assessments, develop and update care plans, implement physician orders, and evaluate patient responses with the multidisciplinary team
• Manage complex critical care equipment and procedures (arterial/central lines, ICP monitoring, ventilator settings, balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, rapid infuser) and respond to emergencies per ACLS/BLS protocols
• Administer medications and therapies per protocol; monitor for adverse effects and adjust plans as needed
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner experience preferred but not required)
• Maintain flexibility to float to related units within the area as needed, while upholding safety and quality standards

Requirements

• License: active NH or Compact RN license required at time of submission; licenses verified
• Certifications: current BLS and ACLS required; TNCC, PALS, CCRN are preferred
• Experience: up-to-date resume showing 2–3 years of ICU experience; CVICU experience strongly preferred; ability to work independently and quickly in a complex environment
• Additional: willingness to float to related units within the assignment area; prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers not accepted
• EMR: Cerner experience preferred but not required
• Education: RN degree required
