Job summary

Gentiva Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice RN – Regional Support to deliver compassionate nursing care across multiple communities. You will manage individualized plans of care, support interdisciplinary teams, educate families, and ensure documentation aligns with hospice protocols.

The role includes on-call duties, regional travel, and collaboration with physicians and referral sources in a safety-sensitive environment. A valid RN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (hospice, home health, acute care, long-term care, oncology or other high acuity setting).
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care for hospice patients.

• Support and lead interdisciplinary team members (LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, etc.).
• Assess and address patients’ physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental needs.

As a Hospice RN – Regional Support, You Will

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care for hospice patients

Schedule & Travel

This role typically follows a Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional on-call responsibilities. Travel is required and may include:

• Option 1: Overnight travel required to cities within a 100-mile radius.
• Option 2: Frequent overnight travel to multiple states is required.
• Option 3: Regional travel with overnight stays based on assignment needs.

A Company Fleet Car Is Provided For Eligible Employees.

Compensation may vary within the salary range provided based on several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s location, experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications and department equity. Gentiva provides associates with a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package, of which base pay is just one piece.

Salary Range – $89,000 to $94,000

About You

Qualifications – What You’ll Bring

• Calm and supportive in crisis situations; skilled at family engagement
