HealthForce Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department travel assignment in Cambridge, MA. This hospital-based ED role runs for 13 weeks beginning 11/16/2026, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and weekly pay between $2,575 and $2,766.

Shifts are 12 hours (evening), 11:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m., on a 12x3 schedule. EPIC EMR experience is preferred; active MA RN license required with NURSYS verification.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license with NURSYS verification within the last week.
• 2+ years ER/acute care nursing experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver direct nursing care to ED patients, including triage and stabilization.
• Monitor and reassess patient conditions; intervene as needed.
• Administer meds and manage IVs, monitors, and safety equipment.
• Document care in the EMR; EPIC experience preferred.
• Collaborate with ED team and assist in discharge planning and education.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards; no block scheduling; holiday coverage as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients presenting with acute conditions in the ED, including triage and rapid stabilization
• Monitor, reassess, and respond to changing patient conditions; initiate appropriate interventions and elevate as needed
• Administer medications and treatments per orders; manage IVs, monitoring devices, and patient safety equipment
• Document care, assessments, and outcomes accurately in the EMR; EPIC experience is preferred
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff; participate in discharge planning and patient-family education
• Maintain infection control, safety standards, and compliance with department policies; no block scheduling, with every-other-major-holiday requirement as applicable

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license with NURSYS verification within the last week; must show all licenses
• 2+ years ER/acute care nursing experience
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Flu vaccine on file
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• 2 recent Manager/Supervisor references in ER and an up-to-date resume documenting ER experience and, if applicable, travel assignments
• RTO must be provided at submission; valid driver’s license with address matching demographics
