Responsibilities

The RN performs angioplasties, pacemaker implants, and cardiac diagnostics via invasive catheterization. Responsibilities include:

• Care for cardiac patients, diagnostics of coronary arteries
• Identify blockages, assist during procedures, monitor patient status
• Administer interventional procedures such as catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker, and defibrillator implants
