Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor II in Augusta, GA to design, set up, and maintain temporary traffic control in work zones. The role involves supervising teams, deploying traffic control devices, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• 2+ years of traffic control experience and 4,000 in field hours.
• ATSSA TCS intermediate training completed.
• Background check including motor vehicle records required.
• Must meet federal DOT requirements and wear proper safety gear.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT vehicle to and from projects and on work sites.
• Drive TMA vehicle to and from projects and on work sites to protect workers.
• Place temporary construction signs in work areas.
• Position arrow boards or variable message boards in work areas.
• Set up traffic cones and other safety devices in work zones.
• Monitor the work zone to ensure correct placement of equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
