Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor II to design, set up, and supervise temporary traffic control in work zones. You will lead crews, install signs, manage equipment, and ensure safety in accordance with DOT and company policies.

The role requires 2+ years of traffic control experience, ATSSA TCS training, and the ability to travel statewide with some nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience and 4,000 in-field hours in traffic control.
• Must successfully complete the ATSSA TCS intermediate training course.
• Must be able to pass a background check, including MVR.
• Must pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• Must read and follow traffic control plans and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT and TMA vehicles to projects to protect workers and work zones.
• Place temporary construction signs, arrow boards, and cones in work areas.
• Monitor the work zone throughout the shift and manage equipment as needed.
• Willingness to travel statewide with occasional overnight stays, nights and weekends.
